Quieting Down My Kohler 19 1042

Hello,

I did a couple of searches and surprisingly didn't find much on this. My mower is very loud. I was wondering what steps other have taken to lower decibel levels.

Much Appreciated!

How does your muffler look?

I recently looked at muffler on my adopted tractor. The exhaust pipe wasn’t connected to engine flange at all. Looks like a previous shitty weld job, but components were in good shape. Brought it to muffler shop and 10 minutes and $20 later it was rewelded. Better now, but I wouldn’t call it quiet.
