Anyone swapped a Command Single into a narrow frame?

I know people usually end up modifying the narrow frame to fit modern OHV engines due to the width and angle of the cylinder, but what about a single cylinder Command will it fit without any frame mods since it's cylinder is totally vertical? Maybe only cut the frame enough to make it sit low enough to marry to the drive shaft? I was thinking if my K241 blows before I get a chance to rebuild, I might just pick up a cheap 2130 for the engine...
