cub 1440 vs cub 1641

Hello,

is there any real differences between these tractors? im looking for a snow blower for my 1440 and i found one that was used on a 1641 and i need to know wether it will work on my 1440. Let me know. thanks, nick

The tractors are slightly different; the 1641 has hydraulic lift and the 1440 does not. I assume the blower you are talking about is either a 451 or 551. In either case, I think you'll need a spring assist of some sort, as that blower is HEAVY. Go to the parts lookup and look up the 451 under the attachments folder for the 1440 and see what all you need to hook up the lift rod and stuff, as that's going to be different than what the 1641 uses because the lift is different.

thanks Matt. the blower is a 451. the 1440 i have came with a spring assist from factory so i have that already. i just needed to know weather it would hook up to the tractor. the lift isnt much of a problem as i can fab up something. ill have to do some research on the matter. Thanks!

Yes, a 451 blower will fit on your 1440. What Matt was saying is that there is also a spring assist that can be mounted on the blower itself.
