1450 deck swap
 

Hey guys,its been a while. my just gave birth to our first child so its been hectic for awhile. I have the chance to trade my 108 for a 1450 with front/rear hydraulics but no mower deck.The 1450 owner says that the 108 mower deck will work on the 1450. Will it?. The 108 deck is a 42" (i.d.#422u113) but im not sure if its interchangable on a 1450. Any advice would really help me figure out if this swap would work for me. Thanks in advance.

It will work fine, I have used the 42 inch from my 128 on my 1250. You will obviously need the mule drive the belt from PTO to deck and the deck hanger the mule drive is attatched too on your 108. The difference in the mule drives for a 42 deck and the 44 and 50 deck is that the mule drive pulleys on the 44 and 50 decks are bent at an angle to the left as you are sitting on the mower because the center pulley of a 44 and 50 deck is offset and not centered like it is on the 42.
