QA42A Bearings
 

i blew a bearing on my thrower. the bearing on the drive shaft with the pulley goin into the gear box. any clues as to what bearing or bearings i need to fix that. i looked at cc specialities and found a bearing that fits. just wondering if there is more than just that. havent dug in and pulled it apart yet to see.

If you take the old bearing to a bearing supply place like Motion Industries, they will probably have one in stock.

Just a heads up:
The bearings are available as others have said.
You will also need the seal if the bearing is shot.
Best to take it all apart and check the other 3 bearings as moisture from condensation plays havoc with the bearings.
You will also need to pay close attention to the gears to see that they don't have any bad teeth, as replacing bearings/seals on a set of broken, no longer available gears is money wasted.
Check the shafts also, they can be made/machined, if NLA.
You can make the cork gasket if need be from material available @ napa or other suppliers.
