Snowblade questions

I got most of a 42" snow blade today but the linkages don't look like those I've seen elsewhere. Here are some pictures:

The bar is a larger diameter than the hole in the lift lever:

I was told the piece on the left goes around the lift lever to accomodate the larger bar:

It also has a different mount on the blade itself:

So I guess the piece on the right bolts in there, but what's the piece in the middle for? As you can see in this view there are two set screws:

Thanks for any insight you can provide,

Left bracket is for a manual lift 82 series tractor, right one is for a late hydraulic lift cyclops tractor. What are you trying to mount this on?

Model 86. It looks like the left bracket will fit my lift lever, but then the length may be wrong huh?

For an 86, you don't need either bracket...there's a hole in the cast piece of the lift handle for the lift rod to go in. You will need to make a new lift rod.

OK, it turns out I have the "new style" snow blade. I could tell because my springs mount differently. I think I can make it work with what I have, but I'll post my progress once I get the undercarriage,

Thanks
