Tire shopping
I started my quest for a new set of 23x10.5x12 Ag tires for one of my tractors. Went to TSC, $100 per tire and 3 different tire stores and they were all roughly $100 per tire. Well the counter man at the last tire store I checked happened to be a family friend. So I told Andy what I was looking for and he got on the phone and talked to someone and then quoted me a price of $70 per tire for Tru Powers. I should have my new meats on Tuesday. Got to tell ya $140 changed hands in a micro second. They happen to be the last 2 tires they had in stock so I guess the sun does shine on this old dogs butt every once in a while.:beerchug:

That's awesome, Kelly! Can't wait to see them on your tractor! :beerchug:

New tires
Great job on your new tires. I bought a set of tru powers of the same six at thebeginning of the year for $110 apiece. Not as good of a price but m very oleaster no found tha with 45 lbs on each wheel I have always been able to push anything I needed to push. If I couldn't do something with tires like that it was probably serving I needed to not be doing. Great job on the new tires.

Nice work, sometimes it pays to to look around:beerchug: What tractor is recieving the new meats?? Can't wait to see them.

Well Sminkey not really sure what cub will be on the receiving end. It will either be the fenderless 71 or the 124 I am building. Kind of leaning toward the 71 right now. I think a fenderless tractor with big old meatballs on the rear has a cool look to it.:bigthink:
