Isn't the TA20A a Wisconsin engine?
Like 9 h.p. or there about.

No kidding...parts are FAR more plentiful for the CORRECT Kohler engine than they are for most Tecumseh and Wisconsin engines.

It's also amazing what you'll find with a simple Google search...I searched for 'ta20a engine' and the first link was about Ariens tillers, and mentioned that that model tiller originally came with a Wisconsin AEH engine (9 hp). Another source lists it as a 5.9hp engine, built 1941-1949. That's old enough to have a large magneto on the side, so it probably won't fit in the tractor at all anyway. You will also have a hard time finding parts for that. We have a Wisconsin engine of a similar vintage on Mighty Mac chipper/shredder, and we had to buy two spare engines to get a few spare parts. Little if anything is available new, aftermarket or otherwise.

You could build a complete brand new k series kohler with no kohler parts today.. if price is no option.... Just to add to matt's point.
