will a snow plow off a 1200 series fit a 1420 series

Hello everyone I am new to all of this, just got married and purchased our first house. I recently picked up a 1420 and found a snow plow off a 1200 series and was wondering if this was compatably or if there would be alot of modding? thank you for all your help.

You are better off finding the correct snowblade for your tractor.
The 1420 is a lawn tractor and the 1200 is garden tractor.
Completely different setup.
Sell the 1200 blade and look for a Lawn tractor blade.

ok thank you very much. Its to bad and a little to late already purchased the snow blade tonite, kinda had to jump on it, its an international snow blade the guy i purchased off of also had a 2nd mounting bracket that orginally came with it maybe it will work, or is there another bracket out there that I could purchase to make it work.

You'll have to fab one up to make it work.

as i am new to this whole process would that be extremely hard to do? I have tried to find a factory plow for the tractor but have not been able to do so..

They mount so differently you are better off looking for one of those blades then cutting up an IH blade that someone would pay decent money for. They are around...Have you tried contacting one of our sponsors, particularly Patton Acres? I believe he is in PA...

ok thank you for all your advice, I called the guy up today that I purchased the plow off of, and told him I would just go ahead and purchase the tractor as well, its a 1200 series 44 inch deck just redone over. the guy is the orginal owner with all the manuals and service records. got the tractor for $375.00
