Took the front wheels off. The inner race was egg shaped. Not sure of it is salvageble. I'm going to split the tractor this week and fix the spinning shifter. Then I will finish tearing down for a repaint. I got the to ahead to do this one IH red and cub white. My plans are a set of tri ribs for the front and 23-8.5-12 ags ok the rear. Cameras were both dead so I'll post pic shortly.

Here's a few pics. I split the tractor tonite. It actually went pretty smooth. I went out to the garage tonite for about an hour and got the tractor split, the shifter off and apart. I'll be referring to Merks spinning shifter post to finish that off before the weekend. Here's some pic's

I need a new pair of front rims and tires all around. The motor runs strong, doesn't smoke and starts right up. I'm going to break her down, pressure wash, strip prime & paint! Rebuild steering column, new axle seals, new fluids, and blast & paint the wheels. After that a decal kit and decide if I want to invest in a pair of fenders. I also have to addresst the deck, which is in tough shape as is the deck hanger.

Ooops, how'd that get in there!?!?!? This is the one I mentioned in a previous post. I'll delete it if it's offensive. I will say that I do enjoy punching a roll pin to disconnect the drivetrain as opposed to the maze of belts and pulleys under that 212!

I grew up with Green Farm tractors, my Father still farms with a 730 johnny popper, however I did manage to talk him into the IH 806 and he loves that 100hp tractor.

I respect a nice looking tractor regardless of the color. I agree after wroking on green and yellow I like the yellow and white better.:American Flag 1:
