Brinly Hardy Moldboard Plow

I need your help to gather info on a white in color brinly hardy moldboard 3 point, catagory 0 plow!.Serial # b-75-23661,possibly made between 60's or 70's, just guessing!. It has a round steel depth guage wheel with flat top attached to it. The end portion has a flat piece of iron with (2) u bolts attaching it to what appears to look like a upside down t with hitch pins on bottom and at top where top link goes,it is off set to the right, instead of being centered to line up with center top link on tractor 3 point hitch. Also the coulter wheel is also on plow. Can i use this plow on 782 or 1650?.It is very heavy made with 12 inch plow bottom.I picked plow up today, bartering a s-19 speedex for a cub cadet 1650 parts tractor set up with hydraulic system for front loader.I can send pictures of plow if need be.Any info will be greaty appreciated. Thanks for your assistance!.

If the two tractors mentioned have a cat O lift, it should work fine.

Does it look like this:

Brinly Moldboard plow

Matt, thank you for responding to help!.My plow is identical if yours has the metal 3-3/4'' wide gauge wheel.I noticed the u bolts and flat strap are moved over to the far right side of the t frame next to right hitch pin.I will probably have to reposition to the left.I don't know if it will move far enough to the left to align up with center of hitch on tractor.Does yours line up correctly?.I'm sure it work correctly after seeing picture of yours installed on tractor. What year were they sold, possibly with the 82 series?.Are they hard to locate in your area?.Any info will give me an idea of great worth.I wanted it as soon as i noticed how heavy duty it was.I have a brinly sleeve hitch plow, but nothing compared to this one. It's origional color is white except for plow and curved peice attatched/bolted to double top straps are black in color.Send me more info, possibly what price you have senn them listed in places for!.Hope i'm not asking for too much.Still learning about cub cadet tractors and all the expert advice from the members and moderators of this excellent forum. You all are the greatest!.Thanks

Yes, mine lines up just fine. I suspect they were sold beginning in the mid '70's or so. They are still being made according to Brinly's website. The one I pictured was originally black, but I repainted it white and used the older-style decals. The other one I have is a white one, but has been repainted with really chalky red-orange paint. I paid $140 for this one, and about $120-ish or so for the other one I don't have a picture of. The going rate seems to be about $225-250 or so. I'm too cheap to pay that much, though.

Even though Brinly's website says they are still available, I'm pretty sure thy are not. I tried to buy new u-bolts for mine and they were nla. I believe DX3's plow is the original 3pt plow that they built. Matt's plow is the last style they built and there should be one in the middle. The most notable difference between the 2 newer versions, is the gauge wheel. The style not shown has the same wheel as the original style.

AJ,thank you guy's for all your info!.After reading your reply,I realized my plow must be in the middle style of the later version, because it's like matt's except for gauge wheel thats like DX3's.I would have never known the difference if you had not pointed it out and made me aware of the different ones.I appreciate you shareing knowledge to learners!.Garoyl

The second one I have has the gauge wheel like DX3's as well. The one I pictured is newer than the other one I have.
