1450 brakes

I test drove a 1450 the other day. I have no experience on a hydro,so i need some input. It seemed like it had no parking brake, the pedal had no resistance at all when i tried to set it. When i was driving the tractor the brakes worked fine. Does this have somthing to do with it having wet brakes?

My 782 wet brake has no resistance either, but it won't budge if you try to move it. If it isn't holding, the brake can be adjusted. Most brakes on hydro's don't get used very much.

The Quietline Series could have either the Internal or External brake system. Easy way to find out, look for the Calipers and a Disk on each wheel to see if they are there.

I have four Hydros and don't ever use my brakes. Just put the Hydro Control Lever in the opposite direction that you are traveling real quick, and you will soon discover the abrupt stoppage....:biggrin2:
