I don't know how much or how often it was done but there was a picture on here not long ago with a wide frame (?) Cub Cadet that was running 6-12 ags without chains pushing snow. I thought it looked a little strange until lbs/sq in of pressure was pointed out. This does not answer your question. I know. Personally I will be running chains. I might try out a few combinations just to see what I like best. I'm starting my 104 with 8.50 ags and chains. I will have a 129 with either 8.50 or 10.50 turfs and chains on standby.
