Waht bracket would you be putting there? personally i dont know if i would mess it just because its cast. Also where your rockshaft sits looks nice but ill throw the idea out there of getting some (i think there called) solid one piece locking collars with a set screw in them and welding them to the seat pan around your rockshaft so they have more surface to rotate on and take the set screw out and put a grease zerk in instead. That should save some future wear issues on the seat pan and rockshaft. Also for your hydraulic cylinder maybe mounting it on the outside on the back like Case garden tractors had on theirs, or aftermarket 3 points for farmall H's and M's.
