Like George says check your movement. I realy think you need to change your oil and filter. Be sure it a NON foaming oil, I wont open the can of worms, I use hytran, or the green bucket of coastal in my hydros.
Another thing to look at. Yes the preasure should be the same in forward and reverse. I have yet to have a hydro go as fast or as strong in reverse. This is just my thinking, so take it for waht it worth, and please no coments from Duke! LOL Tater chip guy
The hydro pushing the tractor for the weight aspect going forward is easier to do. In reverse the pulling of the weight of the tractor isnt as easy and for me I get a lot of wheel spin. The 2500 and 3000 series tractors whith the same trannys as the old ones are about the same way. Ive been of the 400 deere with sunstrand pumps that are this way too. Even the 318 dosnt go as fast in reverse as forward, but all have more than enough power to spin the tires in reverse.
Regaurdless the hysro should have drug that deck all around under the front wheels, been there dont this many a time. I know that some of the compact deere machines have small ramps built on the the decks so you can drive over the deck to take it off.
