Well I made a kit of parts, and took a photo.

I looked at the photo and decided the formed part I made was inadequate for the blade bracket.

Back to the torch, and a difficult match drill to make the holes align.

The part is 1" thick, the three 1" and one 3/4" holes are flame cut.
(It is real tough to cut a hole of smaller diameter than the thickness of the material)

I flame cut the holes as I did not have a .030" clearance size (.780") drill bit.

The "clamping" holes are 3/8" and uses 4 1/2" long bolts.

I am "Tebowing" right now, hoping these parts will fit the QL1000 and the blade!!

Pretty good game so far!!
