Just an update - I haven't gotten to the 1440 yet... I know, I know, poor excuse for a Cub owner! Anyway I wanted to thank those of you who offered help and I think I'll start with the "power-chasing" method Vince suggested.
I wonder if the switch is bad since there is absoultely NOTHING when the key is turned? I did yank the battery and have it load tested - turned out to be just fine. I've had the battery on a Battery Tender since, so I don't think I'll have any issues with it.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why the hydro won't unlock? Is there a secret to it? I've pulled the lever and nothing seems to change... Dang tractor is pretty heavy too, so it won't be fun pushing/pulling it to the garage...
