Check your fuses first

I did one the other day, troy broke, and the fuse was melted. At first I didnt take it out, just probed on the top, tested good. BUT When I hooked up the switch, no power on the switch. Just enough resistance no to light up the test light when plugged in. Pulled the fuse and it was melted and I guess just enough was still togeather to light the light on both sides.
