From my recent experience with the 44c, I think you can use the mule drive, but the undercarriage will have to come from the newer wide frames. The front hanger brackets are spaced a little bit farther apart. I tried this on my 129. I know it's not a NF, but it should be the same other than the mule drive The undercarriage is also bent to go over the deck belt cover. Also one other thing I haven't figured out is you ( or I ) will need to change the pulley to a 1/2 inch from the 5/8s that comes on the 44c. Hopes this helps.
