your bumper pull hitch on the van is how much? 500 lbs? you dont want to be axel heavy (thats a fine) you may not be over weight but you can be axel heavy.
looks like you have 2 1000 lb axels , check the load of the tiers ( DOT will )
so you can haul 2000 lbs that includes the weight of the trailer. so if the trailer is 500 lbs , you can haul 1500 lbs. and still need to find the sweet spot on the trailer so your not axel heavy.

That's the best part of living in hillbilly land here in KY, the only things DOT messes with are coal haulers and semi's on I-75, the rest of us just go on our merry way LOL. How did we get on to Ohio laws anyway?

The axles are 2K but the tire size is the limit for weight. Same thing on my 5X8 trailer. It had a 3500 pound axle, but the 12 inch rims and tires dropped that down pretty good. The most my trailer will ever see is my BRS and maybe the 128 at the same time. But more than likely, just my BRS and plow or disc.
