The 1882 was the ugly one of the 3, it still needs to have the hood fixed or replaced. The PO drilled through the hood and bolted it to the hinge. It may be reparable and it needs new decals. Then it will look pretty good. The engine swap from the Mag18 to the CH22 turned out good. I had to get a little creative with the cooling because of the shape of the firewall for the 1882, I had an old firewall and the plastic bellows that they use on the 2160’s so I cut the 2160 fire wall up and combined it with the one for the 1882 so that it wont be sucking hot air back around the engine. I’ll post some pics of that next time I have the side covers off.
