I would budget at least $400 for the machining and the parts. Yes have everything measured first by you or your machine shop. The kits on line are good value. Lots of differing opinions. Stens is a very good brand used by lots of pullers in high performance engines. I do have some rebuild pictures and info on a thread about the 147 restoration if you need it.
