I bought a 149 at a farm sale, I didnt research it first but it has a few mods. The motor was swaped with a 16hp briggs and twin stacks were added. After finishing a few projects i pulled it into my shop and started looking it over. It is a good start but it needs a lot of work, my idea is to pull off the wore out briggs and put in a 20hp kohler that i rebuilt a few years back. I have also been thinking of changing the look, more like a 856 or 966 International. Any ideas on this would be a big help.
