O.K. just got in from the garage. I wanted to double check everything before i posted. Matt G. is right they are 8.5 rims. Both the 149 and 169 are identical. Same width overall, same offset. The tires are the only difference. You can tell by the picture above that the 169 (one on the left) tires are almost even with the width of the rim. The 149 tires are wider and stick out past the rim (hope that makes sense)
The best description i have found for the tires Comes from Morrow tire supply. They have an e-bay store and some of the ag tires have this description to help explain. I have bought tires from these folks. Great people to deal with
DESCRIPTION
READ BEFORE BUYING! If you are looking at buying 23X10.50-12 lug tires there are three molds out there, NONE of them will measure exactly 23" tall and 10.5" wide if you take a tape measure to them. The tires in this ad are Deestone brand, this same mold is also used to make the Nanco they simply change the nameplate in the mold. UNMOUNTED they will measure approximately 21.5" tall and 9" wide. The other two 23X10.50-12 molds out there are the Carlisle Super Lug and the Carlisle TruPower. The TruPower mold is an old Titan tire mold bought by Carlisle. UNMOUNTED the TruPower will measure approximately 22" tall and 9.5" wide, UNMOUNTED the Carlisle Super Lug will measure approximately 21.5" tall and 11" wide. I sell all three treads, look in my ebay store. CONSIDER THE ACTUAL TIRE SIZING BEFORE BUYING AND NOT JUST THE PRICE AND SIZE PRINTED ON THE SIDEWALL. There is nothing wrong with the quality of these tires I just don't want anyone whining about the sizing or threatening me with bad feedback when they don't measure what you think they should, I don't make them!
