I think you would be asking a lot of the K341 to run a 1816 loader.
All engines feel weak when powering hydrostatic drive, I do not know what the 1816 has for wheel drive.
Why not go with a higher horsepower twin like a Kohler 27 HP rather than trying to get extra hp out of a smaller engine!!??
