Welcome to OCC, glad to have you here and yes you are at a forum that can help you out.

You are only a few miles north of me. Richmond, Ky here.

Trust me when I say, you could have bought a new mower that is designed to have to be replaced within two to three years. You are much better off fixing this one and having one that will last much longer than the new plastic and thin metal stuff that is being sold today. The front axle should be fairly easy to locate. As someone noted, call our sponsors at the top of the page and they should be able to get you fixed up.
