The "biege" or cub cadet white that TSC sells is close enough to the earlier IH cubs to be a close match, but not for the brighter white of the late '60's/early 70's models. Actually that matches the white on the 1x8/9 through 82 series better than the earlier white; the earlier white has more of a greenish tint to it, but after 40 years of fading you wouldn't notice. There were three shades of white used: IH 901 from serial number 501-218009 and has a slight greenish tint; IH 902 was used from S/N 218010 to 375938 and is the whitest of the three, but still not 'bright white'; IH 935 white was used from S/N 375939 until the end of IH production of the 82 series, and this is the color that the Valspar 'IH white' is closest to, as it has a beige tint (very obvious if the tractor is outside in the snow). I haven't seen anything to confirm this, but I'm pretty sure CCC used the same shade of white through at least 1985 and probably through 1989.
