Sounds like a nice 2072 with low hours. Congrats! The supers are notorious for eating driveshafts. I've seen 'em wear to the point where the coupler is loose, but I've never seen one shear all the splines. Maybe someone else has??? I really hope the splines on the hydro pump are ok. The couplers were still available from the dealers ($100+) but I heard the were going NLA. Check with the sponsors, they might have one. Another thing to check is the rearend bolts going through the frame into the rear end. These tend to loosen on the supers and they can wear or break off causing issues. Once again, congrats on the 2072 and of course, got any pics??????

Some guys have modified their own driveshafts or have used shafts from later models with the CV joints and modified them to work.
