Oklahoma guy
Hello all! Great forum you have here.
My name is Garry and I'm from Okahoma hence the user name "garrynok".
I live on two acres and retired about four years ago. I've spent most of the last four years reworking the old house. Lots of work!
My dad was a mechanic and it sorta rubbed off on me. I enjoy bringing old stuff back to life and finding out what makes it tick. I'm hoping to get my eight year old grandson interested also so that is one of the reasons I'm thinking about a project.
Currently I mow the yard with a lt1050. I don't have any complaints, it's pretty cheaply thrown together but it mows the grass. Some of my land is really bumpy, I need to drag some gravel out and have a couple of trailers to move around so I'm thinking about rebuilding an ole Cub for that kind of duty (as well as gardening). I don't really have a preference although I do want a hydro. In my area there is an 1811, 1864 and several quite lines for sale. I'm in no hurry, time is on my side. Any of the wide frames would work I guess. I'll have lots of questions.
I admire the work you guys do on your projects. Sorry about the long winded post but hey....I'm long winded.
Garry
