I disagree pattonacres. You stated "
I would rather provide excellent parts and service since that is what I am selling (not feedback) . That's great. But as I buyer I'm buying the whole package including shipping. While eBay says feed back is an option, they will send you messages reminding you to send feed back if you haven't left it. I believe feed back is an accepted practice on eBay. If you are don't like the practice you need to take it up with eBay. You should not take it out on your paying customers. BTW... this is for all sellers out there. Nothing personal with Patton Acres. I've never done business with them.

but yet on eBay people seem to expect you to hold their hand the entire time ? Sir I suspect that's because eBay is arguably the most popular auction site on the web. So there are bound to be many new people not only new to online bidding but also to the parts themselves. If you run into such a person and take the time to "hold their hand" you will help build trust and make yourself a repeat customer.
This is from eBay in part: Positive Feedback tells prospective buyers the seller will deliver what’s described, and lets sellers know a buyer is going to pay on time. Because trading online depends on trust, your Feedback is an important way to build your reputation on eBay.
