I just bought a 1100 model cub for $300.00, my story is what I have read on here before.....it started with the key and ran when jumped off from the battery.....when I got it home it would not turn over...I put a new selanoid on it and still the same thing. I can put the cables on the starter and it will crank and run every time...I now know that there is a safety switch under the mower....when I hold down the safety switch and turn the key it will start....MY QUESTION IS:what is supposed to go against the switch to activate it (pics of your set up would be great).MY YEAR MODEL QUESTION IS: what year is this ser# found on the side of frame? 2050590u661814. QUESTION ABOUT REAR GEARS: when I try to go up a steep hill only the right tire will spin, I have a 60'' pull behind mower I will be using with this cub so is there an easy way to make possitive traction? MOTOR QUESTION: it has a brigs motor that smokes pretty good...the code #on the motor shroud starts with 94 so I was told it is a 1994 motor (dont know hp yet) ........... would i need to rebuild it or would it be better to go with bigger motor or try to find a some what origanal year motor.
