So...I am looking at a 3204, a 2182, and a 2284...and a few green ones, all around $2,000.

Can anybody talk to me about these three models? My requirements are that they have hydraulics and be capable of adding a Cat 0 three point. I mostly need it for mowing, but I will use it for other work, like dragging deadwood, grading gravel, and gardening. I have no interest in a simple lawn tractor. I like things that last a long time and that have parts available, unlike the KT17 in my 682. I like the Kohler Command engine of the 3204 and 2284, as well as the Kubota water-cooled three cylinder on the 2182.

All three of these tractors are at least 2.5 hours drive from me, so I need to ask good questions on the phone. Your help would be appreciated.
I'm just spitballing here, but if your willing to spend that kind of dough, have you reconsidered re-powering the 682 with the 18hp Vanguard kit? the end result of that could be the best of all worlds. I'm just saying????? And it would be about $600.00 less than, what you stated you were willing to spend.
