Finally got the KT put together on the bench last night. New .010" under rods, ground crank and new govenor assembly.
I left the heads off, installed the oil filter (filled it with oil prior to installation), flywheel, and starter. I used a "jumper box" to spin the motor over. It did build oil pressure rather quickly. At least there was oil coming out of the port where the pressure fitting goes.
I didn't get that last time, no oil there at all.
I think we may be good to go??
I was going to take some pictures, but too much oil on hands and such, to mess with a camera.
