If the wood was treated with any sort of sealer b4 installing it it should in theroy last for prolly decades . the only other wood that would be better that I know of is hedge(osage Orange) a quality piece of it untreated from solid stock would last a lifetime providing it wasnt damaged by a forigen object whilst mowing. Keeping it well lubed so as to not skid instead of roll will prolong the life aswell. If stored inside away from the elements I would be willing to bet as it is you would never need to replace it
