We had some really nice and cool weather today, so I got out in the shop and finished putting the transmission back together for my nephew's 73. The reduction drive seal finally came in and I remembered everyone saying if you are that far into it, to replace the brake lining retainer O-Ring. I picked that up and got it changed out. All of the plates and new gaskets re installed and torqued down properly. Once finished with that, I heard the 1711 calling my name saying the yard needed mowing, so I had some great seat time with a nice cool breeze blowing while cutting the yard. All in all a good day.
