Replaced the mule drive belt with an aftermarket from NAPA, same measurement as what the book said. I cannot get enough tension on the pulley. I have it screwed all the way in and the pulley with the lever on it is touching the frame of the mule drive. What is happening is the blades spin, but when I get in thick grass they slow down to were they will not cut grass. This is the 38" deck. Just put a new deck belt on tonight but have not tried using it. Any advice?
