Well, got the deck all back together today and running just great.
I also installed a brand new set of Gator Blades on it.
Had a little trouble getting the idler pulley back to the way that it should be. Seemed like the alignment was off a little but I shimmed it up with some custom made washers and it worked much better. The junk cans of parts of washers, bolts etc. really paid off for this project. I had to chase all of the threads with a die, lubricate all of threads etc.
And of course, Jose Cuervo was there with me for the test cuts.
Looks like I need to level the deck just a little. This tractor does not have any kind of mowing height indication that is a real pain as you can't judge how high or low you are setting the mowing height.
