That scoop brings back some memories. My grandfather had one and used his old Farmall H to pull it. He dug his house foundation using it. Don't know who helped him though. My dad did all the landscaping around his house with it too. I can recall my grandfather, very hard of hearing, on the Farmall and dad on the handles of the scoop. It is a bit of a balancing act to get the scoop to dig dirt. Not enough angle and it just slides along too much angle and you will find yourself flipped over the scoop. My grandfather would just drive ahead and poor dad would yell whoa about four times till grandpap would stop. By that time the scoop would have flipped and dumped the load. I even used it a few times but unless you want a real workout do not try it.
