Default Fixed front wheels

The front wheels on my 54 inch mower deck were really wobbly. EricRand I took them off and discovered not only the wrong bushings in the wheels but the axle bolts were worn halfway through. I ordered new axle bolts and they came in. We headed off to Lowes this afternoon and found steel bushings that will fit. They were a little loose in the one end of the wheel so we cut an expansion spring and put it between the steel bushings inside the wheel and it provided just enough pressure to keep the new bushings pushed out. If I had let them go in they would have covered up the hole inside for the grease. It worked very well and I now have front wheels restored to near perfect condition.
