Michics I have a 2084 that is very close the same as the 2082 at least frame and rear end wise. My engine is the Kohler command and the 2082 has the Kohler Magnum. I have had no problems at all with the aluminum rear but check those bolts frequently to be sure they are tight. You will absolutely love that super. I have owned cub cadets since the mid 70s and my super is great at everything I ask it to do. I mow, haul,yard vac and snow blow with it and it is really up to all I ask it to do. That power steering is awsome.
