I actually got to mow today for the first time in 5 weeks. It was mainly because the weeds were so tall . The drive shaft front coil pin sheared on me way down in the front yard. Had to push the 1711 up to the shop in the shade. Got the shaft removed and replaced both front and rear pins. Then of course I had to move the engine forward to get the shaft back in. My back was screaming in pain by the time I got done. At least I found out I will need a new drive shaft and front bushing later on. The front bushing is bad. The drive shaft was worn pretty good.
