Rpalmer, What did you mean when you asked whether Cvcman needed the spring "independent" or is a 3pt used? I thought the spring assist took pressure from the rockshaft that controls both or is it different on a nf? Am I missing something here or do I just not understand? I've been known to be confused before.
Cvcman, When you're done with your research I hope you post the results. I have been thinking of doing the same thing, maybe with a clutch spring. I have several hood springs if they prove to be good for the job.
