You just have to be conscious of where the guide wheels are on the mower deck in relation to the rear wheels of the tractor, they may not fit. I have wide rear tires on my 147 tractor and I use a 48" deck that does not require modification. I could use a 38 or 42 inch deck but I'd have to make sure the deck wheels are out far enough to clear the tractor tires.
