The machinist of many years, and a friend of my dads decided against putting in a roll pin (Due to not being able to put even a mark on the adapter very easily), and welding (Due to cooking the pump seal). So, he cleaned the input shaft and the adapter, mixed and put JB weld on both..And now the dang thing is as hard as a rock!   |
