Sounds to me like you fixed your own problem. No power out of the solenoid.

To check the solenoid do this. Make sure the wire from the key switch has power on it, its usually red or orange, when you turn the switch to START

If you have power then see if there's power on both poles. If there's not then the solenoid is bad.

If you DON'T have power to the red or orange wire leading to the solenoid, you have a safety switch problem.

Remember if the little red/ orange wire has power on it, ALL SAFETY switches are working.

Also I'm guessing that your PTO switch is disengaged, pushed in.
