That sounds like a good buy to me. At least in this area.
I paid $125 for my Brinly plow, and I see them for $100-150 all the time. So figure $100 for the plow, you get a Cub Cadet with a replacement engine (maybe newer than the tractor) and wheel weights for $270. A running tractor with a deck that you can mow with today, for $270 sounds good to me.

Yes, there are plenty of guys on here that will tell you about the old widow who paid them to take away their 3 digit Original with 7 hours on the meter, and threw in a home made apple pie. No one brags about the $500 tractor that doesn't run.
