if you have a close dealer of the color of grass, they have a hyguard oil that is equal in every way to hy trans , of course they will provide information proving it is better. but that goes back to grade school, and that my dad can kick your dads butt ETC, ETC. Ha,LOL!
but seriously, it is an option If they are a closer source., and their mowers use the same Sundstrand hydro.
It might be mentioned that Tractor supply has reduced their prices of hydraulic fluid two times in the past year, reflecting falling crude prices. it would seem to me, that a 5 gallon pail of whatever you chose, will only be going up in price as our ecomony/crude rebounds, making it a wise purchase for a future fluid change.
