Might want to push in on the lever that actuates the internal brakes (underneath, there should be a long lever in the front of the transmission connected to the linkage to the clutch) or take a hammer and LIGHTLY tap that casing around that plunger that goes to the tranny. It may be a little froze up from sitting.
