Thanks for the complements, I'm sad that the project is over...it was a lot of fun because you never know how it's going to turn out. What's not to love about these machines, big, stout, heavy...there is nothing else like them anymore. The worse shape that they are in, the more they seem to cry out to be saved. I have to admit, I didn't realize that some parts were no longer made which adds to the gambit of it all. I'm using the machine on a weekly basis but always leery of breaking a non-replaceable plastic part or something. Working these old machines is definitely one of life's joys and makes you part of their history.
