I've been restoring cars for a living my whole life. I mean cars that go to The Concours at pebble beach, show quality perfection.
I'd be banned from the business if I took a mustang 65' GT350R (R are the limited production factory race cars prepared by Carroll Shelby's guys), and turned it into a custom.
That can be done to a standard mustang, or any other of the millions of mass produced junkboxs out there.
Like it's been said, that grill is rare, so what was done to it, is sickening to us...because it's ruined, and rare to begin with.
But, who knows, the guy who did it, may have a pile of them, and to him....it's not rare.
